18 Jan Kneecap Premieres at Sundance
The Sundance Film Festival welcomes its first ever Irish Language Film
We’re delighted to share that today is the day that Kneecap, directed by Rich Peppiatt, the first Irish language movie to make it into the prestigious Sundance Festival, premieres in the US. The film is a semi-fictionalised account of how the Irish rap band came about, and it stars the band members along with Michael Fassbender and Simone Kirby, amongst others. It has at its heart the issues of minority languages and civil rights.
Avant Music Port provided Music Supervision for this fun and important film, and we’re so very excited to see how it is going to be received.
