Having begun his professional musical career in metal and hardcore bands, Uly then veered off on a solo track where he could combine his love of old-school deep soul, jazz, funk, and dusty production quality, and then top it all off with some pop sensibilities. The end result is something hypnotic, delicious and comforting, whilst simultaneously remaining fresh and free.
