A made-up band name, just for the sound of it, seems to fit this buzzing band at the helm of which we find Corkonian Graham Cooney. He steers his cool musical ship across tracks with a lot of swagger and sway, whilst never seemingly losing his sense of humour.

The vibe is dreamy and addictive, and the inspiration partly comes from Marvin Gaye, Ariel Pink and Roster Batmanglij, and era wise the 60s and the 70s. If you are lucky enough to catch the band live expect a six piece that will stir your senses in oh so many ways.

 

He blends funk, ’60’s surf-rock and electronica to create lo-fi bedroom-pop reminiscent of early Tame Impala. (Hot Press)
