Irish musician ADT is taking his new single, ‘From The Eastern Shore’, to the coasts of Ireland in a series of performances at six iconic lighthouses over the summer months. The tour, dubbed The Little Lighthouse Tour, kicks off in June for a two-month run.
Here are the dates, venues and times:
June 3rd – 3pm – Raithlin Island Lighthouse – as part of Rathlin Maritime Festival
June 4th – 1pm – The Great Light, Maritime Mile, Belfast – as part of Summer Series
June 18th – 4.30pm – Valentia Island – as part of ARK Storytelling Festival
July 15th – 4.30pm – Loop Head – as part of Carrigaholt Maritime Festival
Aug 3rd – 6pm (sailing) – The Fastnet – as part of Skibbereen Arts Festival
Aug 5th – 8pm – SeaChurch – Ballycotton – Finale Fundraiser for the RNLI
Try to catch one of these performances if you can, it will be very special.
The new song now being released is ‘From The Eastern Shore’ which is a tribute to ADT’s dad and his homeland, Ardfield, also known as “The Mountain”.
ADT is a member of Irish band LOWmountain and an honorary member of the legendary Interference. His debut solo album, Volume I, was recorded remotely in his cabin in his garden and produced by multi-instrumentalist Justin Grounds. The second album, which Alan and Justin are working on together, will be released at this year’s Clonakilty International Guitar Festival in September, 2023.
