Started by two Australian brothers, Axel and Jay McDonald, who moved to Ireland in search of their perfect musical concoction, Jailbirds is a band in full metal flight, especially so after being joined by Ed Orr and Jamie Trimble, thus cementing the full line up. Unadulterated Rock n Roll is the order of the day, and their cup is brimful. Expect high energy, heavy hitting, searing and soaring guitars, vocals that split and wind their way around it all, ensuring a full serious rock package.
Having supported great acts, such as, The Answer, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, Y&T, Mason Hill and the legend that is Anvil, as well as having done headline tours of their own around Ireland, plus having recently released a great debut album, these guys are in top form, and they’ve only got started.
