Early out of the block perhaps, the event is a month away, but we’re so thrilled that our wonderful, wonderful Patrick Hatchett just might be off to the TV BAFTAs, for the music that he has provided for UK’s incredibly popular Channel 4 Show The Dog House. If you haven’t caught the show yet, you are in for a cozy, warm treat. Centred around a north London Dog Rescue, it tells the stories of people and families that are on the lookout for a new furry family member, the journey there, and going forward. In our complicated world it does this without getting too schmaltzy, yet remaining feel good. And the music! Let us not get started on the score. 😉
We are keeping our fingers crossed for all involved on the fab show in anticipation of the BAFTAs.
The show should have a good chance in that it has already WON a RTS Award (Royal Television Society, UK), and even though it is screening in a lot of countries already, it has been sold on to a further 15 countries around our globe just recently. It is on its Third Season, with plenty more planned. Finally, it is HBO bound very soon. Make sure to catch it if you can.

Finally, if you’re not yet aware of Patrick’s music, and his abilities, put your ear to his band project K3lu here on Spotify (or which ever your preferred streaming platform may be). Listening to this you will be able to discern the influences on his skills and interests (World, Funk, Dance etc.) all of which he can bring into the project at hand. Patrick is currently planning a follow up on this lauded album, so don’t despair.
