This coming Saturday Avant Music Port will take part in Cork Animation Day organised by The National Talent Agency, Screen Ireland and Screen Cork. Director and Music Supervisor Jeanette Rehnstrom will sit on the Regional Production panel to start, and will thereafter do a presentation on Local Talent in the Global Industry: Building Music into Storytelling. Avant Music Port composers Patrick Hatchett and Mathias Levy Valensi will also take part, talking about their recent animation projects, such as Season Two of the animated TV series FLIX , award winning short film ReRooted, and working with Marvel, Disney and Star Wars.
There will be plenty of time for networking at the event, so please do come up and say hello.
The panel will be hosted by Deidre Barry of The National Talent Agency/Screen Ireland, and the rest of the panel is made up of Nora Twomey (Academy Nominated, Cartoon Saloon), Will Sliney (Marvel), Aria Ungerer (Pictor) and Patrick O’Mahoney (Screen Cork).
