My Tribe Your Tribe, an alternative rock band that hails from Kildare, Ireland, is made up of George Mercer (Vocals,Guitar,Synth), Tod Doyle (Drums,Vocals), and Colm Daffy (Bass,Guitar,Vocals). The trio has played numerous festivals such as: Other Voices, Body and Soul, Electric Picnic, and Hard Working Class Heroes, to name a few. My Tribe Your Tribe are intent on creating their own distinct form of Alternative music, and have a three track EP called ‘Loyalties’ due out for release in May 2016, as well as an album in the pipeline for 2017.

While their first releases such as ‘Ghost With You’ and ‘Only A Horizon’ have a distinct festival feel about them – a full wholesome sound, hypnotic and pulsating, made to be physically met by the masses – they are also quite dark and haunting in tone. However, their most recent track ‘Garden Song’ (o the EP ‘Loyalties’) marks something fresh in their sound, while also having a festival feel, it is uplifting, it exudes summer sunshine, and veers more in the direction of indie pop rather than alternative rock.

This is a band that are on the road to define their own particular sound, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing and hearing what they will morph into.

Here’s the video for the pulsating, haunting ‘Only A Horizon’
