With a love for literary giants like W.B. Yeats, James Joyce and Cormac McCarthy, as well as sincere interest in social issues of our day, Wexford brothers and multi-instrumentalists Lorcan Byrne and Cillian Byrne (lead vocals) slowly stir a steaming cauldron full of rhythm and blues, jazz, folk and orchestral harmony to the point of boiling. They have things to say, and such a wonderful, heartfelt and yearning way of saying it that you will become hooked from the first sip.
Taking on the harshness of the world song by song, the reality of the day weigh heavily on these guys shoulders, yet, and most likely because, of this, they express their worries and hopes with a light, easy touch full of emotion.
