Northern Ireland based, female fronted electropop act Loris has a knack for creating quirky pop melodies with instant appeal. Since launching onto the scene in 2013, they have sold out shows in their native Belfast, were picked as The Irish Times new artist of the week in September 2015, have been playlisted on popular commercial radio stations, and are now returning to the studio to work on further delights for us.
Their beguiling, memorable melodies are surrounded by a sometimes edgy yet more often groovy and upbeat electronic foundation. With hints of influences of bands such as The Naked and Famous and Passion Pit, Loris have a certain energy and pulse that is illustrative of youth, freedom and summer music festivals.
