Soul, groove and atmosphere; are three words that are intrinsically linked with Dublin quartet Come On Live Long. Quoted as “one of the best live bands in Ireland”, Robert Ardiff, Louise Gaffney, Ken McCabe and David O’Connor use a mix of acoustic, electric and sampled instruments together with the stunning, tenderly soulful vocals of band members Louise and Robert. The group’s soundscape is vast and multicoloured, with electronics that can burn slowly and take you on an atmospheric, groove-infused journey. Track ‘Little Ones’ which has amassed three and a half million Spotify views alone, is the embodiment of how the group can create and develop a groove and atmosphere into an epic finale, with vocals that exude at first gentle then powerful soul.

We are super proud to have the band’s two albums in our catalogue; debut ‘Everything Fall’ and most recent ‘In The Still’(released May 2017). Since its release mid last year ‘In The Still’ has had a great time, finishing off 2017 on the top of numerous noteworthy music bloggers’ albums of the year (The Thin AirThe Last Mixed TapeNialler9). On top of this, ‘In The Still’ is currently up for Choice Music Prize album of the year alongside James Vincent McMorrow and fellow AMP catalogue artist Ships; from this it’s fair enough to say if you haven’t already listened to this brilliant band then today’s the day – enjoy!
